To the members of Ronald E. McNair Lodge No. 146, first I would like to give honor and all praise to the Great Architect of the Universe. I bear witness; there is no other than He and, He alone do we serve. My Brothers of Ronald E. McNair, I humbly come before you as the Elected Worshipful Master of the Lodge for this 2011 to 2012 year, and say Thank You for the opportunity to take us forward this year.
There are no I’s and U’s in the words Brother or Mason, so we will continue to move forward in making our Lodge an even stronger force this year. This past year we made great strides with our community involvement but each year should be better than the last. More community outreach and involvement is required. We have two new schools that we must spread equal time, attention, support and love to; Suitland High and Suitland Elementary Schools. Along with the bond we have forged with ROJA and Drew Freeman, the task at hand is mighty. But we as Master Masons have been provided with the proper working tools to complete any task!
This year we would like to have a Past Master’s Council that meets on a regular basis with thoughts and input on how to make our home (Lodge) better. Past Master’s this is a call to arms for you as our past torch bearers. Please show us how to be productive and proficient leaders! This year we need to establish a Masonic study group as well as a strong dedicated and proficient degree team. We have a wealth of knowledge and talented brothers in our McNair Family. Now is the time we encourage each other to give a little of what was given to us.
In closing, I want to thank each member of Ronald E. McNair Lodge No. 146 for their time, effort and hard work; for without the craft there would be no Lodge. Continue to support the Mighty fourth District and the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Maryland F&A M in all its endeavors. |
